Feel free to estimate the seeing from the 12 frame animation.

Beautiful!
We had similar seeing here tonight too, I'm just attempting to process my data now.
So frustrated, ran out of disk space!

How do you make your animations?

Nice images John. Frankly, with results like that I wouldn't be bothering with the hassle of RGB.
Sadly, that's the usual sort of seeing I get from inner suburban Adelaide! It's a rare occasion when the live feed is not jumping around like that.

Nice , it still amazes me the quality if images that people can get now compared to what was around 10 to 15 years ago mostly it was the VLT's , now people do it from the back yard , good job
These images are crap John !
I don't want to be part of the clique crowd anymore and it's April 1st.
Honestly, to me, they look beautiful and I wish I could achieve this level of planetary imaging my friend.

That animation would represent the best seeing I have had this year by far...

Peter, I just load the AVI into VirtualDub & cut the required frames out of the AVI, save as JPG & then load them to this site > http://gifmake.com/ I don't have any GIF/animation software onboard so this is easy (KISS) & effective for me. Probably wouldn't bother with any high rez GIF's with this; too much compression.
Yes Ivan. As you know I used the (old version) mono camera the other night (2 nights actually) & sadly it couldn't keep up with the DBK. I'm sure if I had the 618 chipped DMK I would have seen better results though maybe.
Thanks David. Yes it is amazing anyone off the street could do this with the right equipment & practice.
Thanks RB - No sucking up & bloody bum kissing! Spongey wouldn't have it any other way!:D:thumbsup:
