Just some pics here of my new little toy, aussie made 100%. I made this from a phillips 230nc the focuser is fully intact as this is for pure collimation use. The housing is a piece 38mm/1.25" tube mig'd onto 2.5mm mild steel, the spacer is pine sanded up and the rear plate 2.5mm mild steel again. Next time ill be leathing for a fusion cam which i plan to do shortly. I made this after watching the tut here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ROvNH5uwDo&list=UUFK1huCp-0Y3COTfkoV6cVQ&index=2&feature=plcp which really shows how poor basic laser collimation is. Can't wait to try it later on tonight and will post back some cam side pic of how far a basic lasser collimation has left the 10" newt out :)
