I am a big fan of Nick Park....al la. Wallace and Gromit, Creature comforts...and "Chicken Run"

This image has nothing to do with Nick's work. Except may the name: Running Chicken..presented here without colour... due crappy Sydney weather....:rolleyes:... but maybe...just maybe... I can get the RGB soon :prey:

This is a very promising Ha Peter, again I am impressed by how much signal you get with very limited exposures. I am sure that with the adition of RGB this is going to be another masterpiece..

The FOV is amazing on that setup.

Now not sure if its me or my work monitor but the focus looks a little soft on this compare to your other images. The contrast in the Bok gobules etc... seems a little hairy same with some of the bigger stars. is this just my imagaination ?

Thanks Chris. Focus could have been a tad off plus the seeing wasn't great..infact it was shot through some thin cloud.

I also pushed the gamma a bit...but have backed it off now (same URL)

That’s much better.

last version did look like the background was a little too grey which gave impression of softer focus as difference between stars and background was harder to distinguish.
