Hi all
It's been a while since dropping in. The weather as most would be aware has been very poor. A couple of night back though I managed to get through some cloud a grab a snap shots of Jupiter among other things. No it's not the currently very exciting GRS hemisphere but worth the effort. Clearly there is a lot of equatorial activity taking place this apparition.

Heyyy.. nice re-entry to the site Steve. :cool2: It has been a while for you. If this is the only the start, I look forward to some more after you have warmed up a bit after the hiatus.

Hi guys
Thanks for the feedback. It's great to see so many excellent planetary images coming from other members in this forum and especially the rise of great planetary imaging from Aussies in the last few years. Hats off to you all - and in particularly in this forum, Bird, Rob, Dave, and Mike - Gotta love technology :)
As usual, there's always another AVI it a set taken from a night observing that yields a few extra frames of good seeing and sometimes allowing an improved view a little better than the last. Here's another one from around the same time on the 29th using about 300 stacked frames.
Cheers
Another great image Steve... with enough of us out there trying there's a good chance that someone will get the good seeing :-)
cheers, Bird
