Wanting a laser and bracket system to be used as a laser pointing finderscope and to assist with polar alignment.

Something similar to this:

Anyone have a unit for sale? or know where to source one locally?

p.s. I am off to the USA in May, are you allowed to bring these back with you? Have heard stories about them being confiscated by customs.

Which explains why I looked at it many times but never bought. I just missed a second hand one in the trades one day, blast.

Cheaper from overseas but you might risk it being held at customs.

I have a VF014. Very good unit. Allows you to adjust diection it points.
Only downside is it doesn't like the cold. If temp drops below 15C I have to attached a couple of dew heaters at full blast to keep it going.
