Saturn with Cassini Division

This is my best effort to date on Saturn. It is the first time that I have managed to get the Cassini Division to show up in an image. :D The image is sharp as a tack when looking through the eyepiece but it is quite difficult to replicate it at the camera. Nothing like a challenge.

great stuff. You may want to tray capturing video with your camera of Saturn and processing that too.

Thanks Peter. The pressure was on to get some reasonable images of Saturn last night. My 5 year old was really keen to have a photo that he could hold and keep.

I will explore the video capture options available. I did try to stack some images in Regi Stax but ended up with overlapping fuzzy blobs that no longer resembled the original image. Lots to learn....:thumbsup:
