This would make a great complete package for anyone starting out. It's a shame to have to split it all up. However, for $300 (I've already greatly reduced everything I feel), I'm willing and much prefer to see it be sold as a package.
Telrad complete with Dew Shield. $70 SOLD
I have the original box and instructions for it.
Near new- only about 6 months old. The base hasn't been used- so the double sided tape on it remains unused. The dew shield (cost me $39 extra, new) also has a flip out mirror which makes finding anything on the Zenith a breeze and saves your neck.
Celestron 2 inch, 2 x ED Barlow. $80 WITHDRAWN (Re-advertising on it's own)
This is a great performing Barlow. Will be sad to see it go but unfortunately doesn't fit into my focuser on my new scope. I lost one of the screws and had it replaced it with another- just doesn't look as "pretty" as the other screw. Doesn't hinder its performance in any way.
You will need a 2" adapter for this (they are usually included with dob telescopes when sold).
9 x 50 straight through finder, including stalk. $40 WITHDRAWN
I'm not selling it with the dovetail plate- should slide into the existing one on your telescope.
Bintel 2 inch 30mm wide view eyepiece. $30 SOLD
Meade Series 5000 UWA 82 degree eyepiece. $60 SOLD
Ultra Wide 82-degree apparent field-of-view
* Premium grade optical glass
* Multi-layered coatings for maximum light transmission
*Adjustable twist-up rubber eyeguard
Both caps are missing, other than that, this ep is in perfect condition and well looked after; hence the really cheap price.
(EDIT: oops I just realised I hadn't given the size, it was a 6.7mm, but it's sold now anyway).
Celestron X-Cel 5mm eye piece. $30 SOLD
The cap has got a tear through it (see pic), but still works fine.
"The 5mm high power X-Cel eyepiece is a 6-element fully multi-coated optical design, the X-Cel utilizes extra low dispersion (ED) glass on its most highly curved surfaces, to minimize chromatic aberration that can hinder sharp planetary views. With a wide 55° apparent field of view, and a large 25mm clear aperture the X-Cel is one of the most comfortable eyepieces to use.
Every X-Cel eyepiece is parfocal with each other, meaning little or no focusing is needed when changing from low to high power. The X-Cel comes with soft rubber eyecups and a durable plastic case. In addition, if you are an eyeglass wearer, you will enjoy the 20mm eye relief available on each of the X-Cel focal lengths."
Celestron 4mm eye piece. $30 WITHDRAWN
The views through this are really really nice, don't let that tiny peep hole put you off- I didn't have a problem looking through it. Looking at Saturn, it takes up the entire field of view, it's a lot of planet! Beautiful sharpness and contrast. Unfortunately, if you're a dobsonian telescope user, it becomes a lot of work nudging the dob to keep a planet centered (as it consumes the entire fov). And some dob users don't actually mind the extra nudging work. I'll be sad to see this ep go actually but I'm replacing this with an Explore Scientific 82 deg fov.
Everything is in good condition and working order.
Everything will be sent out to you well packaged and sparkly clean (I'm a girl :P )
Everything is plus $10 postage & handling.
I'm guessing the heavier 2" eyepieces might cost more to post but I'm prepared to wear that.
Payment: Either paypal or direct deposit.
Lots of pictures of everything listed here on my facebook page.
