Hi all,

First of all, thanks to Paul and Graeme for some great company on Saturday night at Pauls place. What a night. As Paul mentioned in his posts, the views of Mars and then Saturn in his C14 were the best I have ever seen!! Awesome:thumbsup:

In terms of deep sky, I managed to image a couple of targets over the course of the night. The seeing was fantastic, but the wind was quite breezy. Even so, it was great to be out under some real dark skies.

Anyhow, here is my first "draft" at processing some of the data.....

Cone Nebula and Fox Fur Nebula : 4x20 minutes images at (including darks, flats and bias) ED120 @f6 with QHY8L and William Optics III Flattener/Reducer

Leo Triplet : 4x20 minutes images (including darks, flats and bias) ED120 @f6 with QHY8L and William Optics III Flattener/Reducer

Thanks for looking

Cheers,

Daniel

Impressive images Danny, and nicely processed. I'd love to see bigger versions. The first is a lovely field, well framed. Probably the Leo galaxies would have fared better without the reducer. I haven't had time yet to process mine - watch this spot.

Lovely work Danny. I like the colour and the fields of view. Glad you had a good time, I really enjoyed the company, despite being locked inside my observatory to stop the wind. It was good seeing.
