Hello everyone,

this is my latest processed image of Ced 214 and NGC7822, obviously wide field, took with my trusty Baby Q and the QSI583wsg. It is an HRGB for a totale of about 5.5 hours of integration time.

Nice work. Interesting area.

Baby FSQ and 8300 chip seem to be a good match

Nice star colors. the red nebula just of center to the left is a little pink for my taste, but the rest is just right. All personal taste though. Well done.

@TheDecepticon: to my calibrated monitor it doesn't look dark at all. I even got some feedback for being too bright, could it be your monitor way off brightness for catching all shades?

Very nice Nicola.

To my view I find the image overall basically all red and no other colour. There are definitely other colours in this image that could be brought out. Stars, black dust lanes etc.

Ha easily becomes the image rather than adding flavour to it which is my own personal view on using Ha. Its more of an image enhancer rather than the image (unless its a Ha only image in B and W).

Hi Greg, thanks for you comment. I have to say that I totally agree with you, that's why I thought colors were fine. I see all stars with colours and there are different hues of red, depending on the mix of OIII/Hbeta in the field, so I don't think Halpha is dominating that much.
