I know the current La Nina conditions are somewhat frustrating for us glass-jockeys....but as a keen watcher of atmospheric conditions, I can't help but be awed and inspired by the current state of Australia's atmosphere...a huge atmospheric river (http://www.bom.gov.au/gms/IDE00135.201203160830.jpg) is trailing from a tropical cyclone, crossing our whole continent, and flowing out into the Antarctic...amazing and unusual conditions, that bring pleasure to comfortable suburbanites like me, and floods to others. The weather is changing, I don't care what your explanation for it is, and the future is going to get weird....
