Yes, saw it. Amazing! Like a fireball which disappeared in a second. I was trying to find the ISS, didnt see the ISS but saw the shooting star instead :)

It was so bright and sharp it hurt my eyes, like burning magnesium. It was a rush. Really wish I had a camera 24/7 skywards :)

Just like the one I saw last night by the sounds of it. Almost 24 hrs ago the one I saw was at about 8:42 pm give or take a few minutes. From the description it sounds like it came from the same bunch of rocks.
Yes, I saw it as well at around 8.45pm. To me it was too slow to be a meteor. I first saw it in Puppis and it slowly moved into Centaurus at about or slightly faster than the speed of a normal satellite. It started fading as it dissapeared behind some trees in the south east. IMHO I think it was most likely the ISS.

Yup saw it. It was spectacular. Massive fireball and soooo bright.
Pure luck. Let dog out for a toilet break and looked up.
2 nights in a row ? hhmnnn Alien invasion :lol: Coincides with all the orbs we have been seeings.

The direction : its very slightly north (from melbourne) but nearly central (aprox 80 degrees elevation)

They hide behind the sun and when they think no one is watching wammo gotcha.
My meteor camera is pointing south, so that's probably why I missed it :-)
