I captured this last night.

The black spot is Io's shadow, Io crossed the limb during some of the video I captured, but I haven't been able to bring that out yet...

Editted: Couldn't upload Saturn Image for some reason.

always great to see the shadow of a moon on Jupiter, makes it all seem like things are happening eh!. So was this with the Toucam and C8?

22:07 AEST (my lappy is not on DST anymore), so Jups was still pretty low in the eastern sky.

Sorry for the scant details Ving and Rob - I was pretty tired when I posted.

Yes, it was taken with the ToUcam, through the C8 with a 2x barlow.

It's not as sharp as I'd like, but I'd say its the sharpest image I've ever got through my Barlow! I do struggle to get really sharp images. Some could be focus, some could be collimation, it seems to be rare that I get good seeing. Maybe that has something to do with being on top of the great divide (any wind is always that little bit quicker in the middle of the venturi) but there was only a little breeze when I captured this.

I also have some Bob's knobs on the way from Bintel... Even though my collimation looks good to me - diffraction circles concentric on both sides of focus even through a 10mm EP (~200x) - once I've got some Bob's knobs on the thing I can at least do something with the collimation relatively easily.

There is no doubt that I find astro imaging difficult enough to really appreciate the results that so many others on this forum achieve! Just awesome!
