Hi all
Here is my first Mars, done last night with 600D in cropped mode where each pixel on screen is a pixel on the sensor, so only centre part of sensor is used. 30th sec ISO400 about a thousand frames stacked with Registax. 10 inch f5.6 Newtonian and 5X barlow. Sadly Mars is still fairly far north as seen from Newcastle

Excellent work Scott. The tones and colours are great. Good to see another SLR on the planets :)

A very good result for a first attempt, you would have to be pleased. Surely makes you want to keep trying while Mars is still a viable target.
