The orange dawn light begins to creep in the scene. The last of the bright stars shine their hardest before being swallowed by the ever brightening blue sky.

Beautiful image and composition Mike, and nice to see Scorpius rising again - how time flies!

Good shot Mike, these pictures posted in IIS always inspired me to get the camera out and do something about it.

My kind of scenic. Beautiful!

Great to see Scorpius amidst the serenity.

If I had one nitpick, it would be that the boulder to the bottom right seems cut off and kind of jars the peace in the image. And, one very, very minor one: clone the ship lights out -- they don't add anything to the scene. Other than that, gorgeous twilight. :)

Thanks guys - appreciate the kind words.

The time I've spent this week processing these shots has inspired me to get out there again too - I'm going to try and head out for a sunset tonight and a sunrise tomorrow morning while the weather is still fine!

Thanks for the CC, H. Much appreciated - I'll go back and get rid of those lights. I don't think I can do much about that bottom right rocks - as far as I recall, that's the edge of the frame but i'll have a look.
