hello members
i need to find out the slr camera adapter needed to fix my canon 1000d to my new moonlite focuser onto my c11
there was a thread on iis a couple of months ago about the ideal distance to the chip etc.... should have taken more interest in that!
the distances were different for the 8 and 11 and required a different length adapter
any help would be greatly appreciated

The canon front flange to CCD is 44mm. With the standard T2 EOS adaptor, 11mm, this becomes the "standard" 55mm.
(I also use a narrow T to EOS adaptor - to gain some back focus and this is only 1mm wide (!!!?) - let me know if you need details)

heh merlin (or anybody) too, because i have a moonlite sticking out a long way from the back of the c11 does that mean, and what you are implying, is that a shorter adapter is needed? and if i was imaging from the visual back a longer adapter would be needed?
on the opt website i have found a "hotec 2" sca t-adapter" it seems short but does not give the length!
and then there is the t-ring(?) which bayonets into the canon body!?
HEEELLLP!
