These people don't have much of the old grey matter handy, do they? What's incredible is that there are people out there with even less, who fall for it....still. Maybe one of us who can construct a meaningful sentence, spell and punctuate could land a well-payed job over there. At least they used the correct instance of the word "too", unlike most of our native English speakers seem to. Cudos! :lol:

Don't underestimate these people. They do lack a good command of language skills other than their own. They think in different frames. Scamming criminals are very clever and are constantly finding convincing ways to acquire money from victims.

What makes them appear stupid is that they often lack knowledge of Western Cultures and scam-baiters can have fun with them, consuming the scammers' resources. Reducing the time that they have on real victims.

Asking fake phone sellers to supply a phone with a "flux capacitor" or to supply and deliver a Hubble Telescope (for $1000)
Fake chemical company to supply a quantity of dehydrated H2O.
The list goes on. Experienced scammers are not easily fooled by a baiter but some do get arrested or sent on unrewarding journeys called safaris.

I have found where they are "selling" up market scopes at bargain prices. Don't fall for them. Their web-sites get shut down, email accounts closed. Bank accounts shut down. There are many of them. Easy to find.

I agree with you, bit I also stand by my comment. :) If they had any real nouse, they'd of course realise it's actually important to employ well-contructed English if they want results. Their lack of knowledge when it comes to subtle linguistic nuance, in what should be a seriously-legitimate business address, is a very simple trigger serving to warn those who otherwise speak the language naturally and well. It wouldn't take much to employ an English-speaking editor to run these past.

Part of scambaiting is to "deeducate" the lads, so, that when they do send out their crap, people can pick up straight away that they're fishy, and steer clear. :D

I've had a bit of an absense from 419eater.com but just spent a good 30 minutes catching up on some of my favourite safaris. Loads of lad pain to be had. :D

There's also some rotten ones going around from fake source of USPS (United States Postal Service) and American Airlines. Each of the ones that have come across my inbox have zip file attachments with nasties inside - beware and nuke them straight away.

I got my first overseas tele-marketer call today.

I can't remember the company name but she was checking to see if I qualified for a solar power rebate. She was ringing from
0011 44 141 404 5418.

I told her "That I wasn't interested" and that "I don't know what country she was ringing from but it wasn't Australia!" And hung up.

When I checked the number on an iPhone App before posting and knew it was from the UK but the area code threw me. I got the phone call early afternoon.

She's doing time for a good reason mate. She was part of the scam and the money she nicked was sourced from the victims of the scam. If three guys rob a bank and one of them double crosses his two accomplices and takes all of the money does that mean that he's committed no crime? :)

The interesting part is that she didn't even know they were scammers. :lol:
She had a scam going all of her own thinking they were honest Car Salesmen :rofl:
She scammed them but didn't know they were themselves Scammers until cops later told her :lol:
