Had another go this morning. Better seeing than last time but not great due to some low grade Jetstream. I had to do a quick and dirty collimation job as every time I relocate this scope it goes out lot's, but I am getting the hang of it now:rolleyes: Still a few tracking issues in Alt, so a clutch adjustment coming up. Not enough time to leave it for a cup of coffee:D

Top result for the seeing Rob. We might get a break in the jet by midweek according to http://www.bom.gov.au/australia/charts/viewer/index.shtml?type=windbarb&level=200hPa&tz=AEDT&area=Au&model=CG&chartSubmit=Refresh+View. Regards Ray

Nice work Rob. Definitely the best so far for your 14 incher.

You've got cloud over Olympus and Ascaraeus Mons, and some detail in the polar cap.

Thanks for the view. I'm hoping to get a look tonight.

Thanks Ivan
And good luck for tonight
I put the Dob away this morning as it's not weather proof:sadeyes:

Nice work Rob, the 14" is producing some promising results and I am sure will be even better when you sort out the teething problems.

Cheers
