*****************SOLD************** ******

I'm not using this any more so it has to go to make up for my recent purchases.

The computer translation of the original German description says it all:

Deluxe tangential adjustment with fine drives in both directions and for all dovetail Vixen / Celestron / Skywatcher / Bresser / etc Dried-on viewfinder eyepiece holders. Just the original Mini 6x30 finder by Skywatcher / Bresser, etc. Remove the accessory shoe on the focuser (he uses anything anyway) and instead use WITTY 1 - and on top of a large detector / finder or camera mount. WITTY 1 carries a short telephoto lens up to 1.5 kg. Quite well, he wears the 8 x 50mm viewfinder. In addition, he has the usual photo threaded hole in the floor plate, and he will fit on any camera tripod, piggy-back on all papers, etc.

Despite all that a picture tells a thousand words...

All in excellent condition in original packaging. I'm looking for $85 (firm) pickup or buyer pays post.

Just to get this straight, it's a piggy back gizmo, right?

I bought it for DSLR piggyback however you could mount a small finder-guider on it and use the X/Y adjustments to centre a guide star.

Seeing as the A$ is so strong it looks like the price of these has come down a lot since I bought this one. :(

Thanks Poita for bringing this to my attention. :thanx:

Looks like a price match is in order. ;)

Sorry, wasn't my intent, I was just trying to work out what it was!

How well would this work as a DSLR mount for wide field on top of an EQ6?

Is it really solid?

That's what it is made for.
