im gunna try and image mars tonight. However i cant seem to get perfect tracking. I was looking at jupiter and it kept slowly drifting down the eyepiece. Can i still image with a slow drift?

You probably want to take about 2 minutes of video, so as long as it doesn't move out of the field in that amount of time you should be OK. Of course, the webcam field will be pretty small at the magnification you want to get planetary detail. You could always hand guide.
That's what I do most of the time, before I got my motors I would do it with the fast drift but it involved a lot of mucking about. Registax doesn't seem to mind as long as you don't let it get too close to the edges.
Also if you are really worried about the drift you can use a software like castrator to centre the avi but I don't think it's necessary if it's not too bad of a drift.
