In order to neatly replace long url's with a clicky link, its necessary to manually edit the ouput of the Insert link function.

After pressing the Insert link button, you are prompted for the url of the link, but not for the replacement text and then the full url gets displayed anyway

eg (URL="http://www.google.com"]http://www.google.com[/URL)
(end square brackets replaced with round ones)

displays as http://www.google.com

If prompted for the replacement text it would easier to do this:

GOOGLE (http://www.google.com)

Code challenged or lazy people won't know where to put the replacement text, or not even think of doing it.
So next time Mr Mojo when you have nothing to do, could you take a look at this please? ;)

I usually write the post out as usual and then highlight (http://www.google.com) the word to be a link, then I click on the "insert URL" button and insert the URL in the box.
When you return after you submit the post the word is then a clickable link.
