Its a long time since November, my last successful imaging session. So how better to start what I hope will be the start of a long and fruitful imaging season, than to celebrate with IC2944 as it starts it rise in the SE just after sunset.

Thanks guys, it was very nice to get out under some clear skies again. Even if it was just for a little while.

It will come Mike, it will come. :D I'm looking forward to adding more info to this one. Try and get some of that dark noise under control. Its a pretty dusty area too, so the more the merrier. :D
Thanks Ross. I was surprised how much subtlety in the colour in the area. Its an interesting misty feel too. Other wider colour fields I've done with the 20D (mod) really didn't bring it up. Certainly worth more time. I'm still learning to like the big star spikes though. :)
