Hi
Is it possible to get gps control to the camera 600D.
I know it isnt in the camera but has anyone done this with some other add on or software.
It would be great to get the camera to work with google earth just like the Sony did.
Any comments?
Cheers Kev.

I'm pretty certain there's external GPS units that you can use (in the form of a battery grip, perhaps) which will tag your EXIF information with latitude/longitude/altitude data.
eBay for a start, I reckon.

Thx H for the reply
There must be no demand for the product as ebay dont auction it either.
I might try the camera shop where i brought the thing in the morning.
Cheers Kev.

I use a Sony GPS-CS1 dongle which logs my locations every 15 secs, then I use RoboGEO to integrate the data into the EXIF of the files.
You can use any NMEA compatible GPS logger for the task.
That being said, I just located this interesting little device...
