Hi all, changes are happening around here so I am selling a lot of equipment including my paramount.

There are so few of these I see secondhand that I have found it hard to put a price on it. I am in New Zealand so I know shipping is a factor to overseas people.

So, I have priced it at $13,500 NZD ~ 10,450 AUD not including shipping.

I am not prepared to go down on that price, to anyone that knows me and there are a couple on this form that will vouch, this has had very little use. I would guess around 50 -100 hours and thats why it's hard to justify it when I am looking at buying other equipment.

Some pictures of it can be seen in my observatory building gallery here

I will also list my STL11000M with position filter wheel and a takahashi FSQ 106ed newq.

I have a feeling that my 3.5M fully automated sirius observatory will stay with me and house my 16" dob though! A few logistics for shipping that :eyepop:

What comes with the mount, is it just the mount itself, or are you including the software etc.?
Thanks

Off the top of my head the sky came with it as well as tpoint.

I have a heavy duty baseplate as well as the lighter baseplate that I bought with it.

Peter I was only interested in the STL. I think the PME is still available. It's a good price on the ME and close enough to Oz that one could justify flying to Auckland over a weekend to check it out and bring back as luggage. They are not that heavy. I told Jasonh I would take the STL. Regards Kyle

How much do they weigh, and what would be the dimensions packed?

Everything you need to know here http://www.bisque.com/help/paramountme/Paramount_ME.htm

Am seriously thinking of the PME myself so had to find answers to these questions too. (I have a brand new Titan HGM still in boxes never unpacked that if someone wanted would go a long way to paying for the PME)

Send me a pm about the Titan, I'm probably going to fall short of the funding required for the PME
