Feb 4th Mars Saturn in above avg seeing

SPX350, PGRFlea3, Astrodon filters. RRGB, Mars F55.2, Saturn F34.8

Thankfully the cloud/wind and rains seem to have stopped making January imaging impossible. Mars was still ringing a little but red channel showed good detail, finally moved to Saturn not expecting much to find the red channel very steady indeed but only good enough for one set. A reasonable result for the morning, Saturn was high at 68 degrees and will be just great for next few months.

Saturn 1752hrs.

Impressive result with both John, really like Saturn though, you must have been very pleased with the seeing and yes it is shaping up for a great Saturn season.

Thanks guys, Saturn will certainly improve and coming from the UK planets don't get higher than 65 degrees so next few years will be fantastic.

Wow:eyepop:, I didn't seen your planetary images. It is stunning shot on Saturn and Mars :thumbsup:. I'm so impress to see yours results about Saturn because formy self, I can't get a nice result in LRGB :( so I only shot in IR-cut actually. But also your Mars is really nice with lot of details.
When I have a look on Saturn, it is like we can see some storm rest ! Do you think that the little clouds are something from the last storm ?
