Hi all,

Here's a young Eastern Sedgefrog (Litoria fallax) that I found in my backyard this morning. It was less than 1cm long, which is only about half the adult size. Image taken using my Tamron 90mm macro lens (1/250 sec, f/13, 400 iso) and 430 EX II speedlight set at 1/8 power.

Thanks for looking!

Cheers,
Stephen

Thanks jjj! Eastern Sedges are great looking little frogs. The detail in the iridescent skin in the high res version of this photo is amazing.

Cheers,
Stephen

Yes Derek, it's been great weather for frogs. This sedge frog seems to have taken up residence near our garden pond (it was there again this afternoon), and we also have a population of striped marsh frog tadpoles which have hatched in the last week.

Stephen
