The seeing wasn't too bad tonight, but clouds were frustrating :(
This is the first capture (about 80 frames of 20000) processed.
Now to bed for some sleep:hi:

Thats is very coool Rob, more detail showing and pole caps better exposed, yep. Nearing opposition, I should try a 1st mars ever, would be happy to capture half as good as yours ?
Top stuff !

Good effort Rob, certainly has been some cloud around of late but still a creditable result. Was up this morning also and for a change had no cloud at all out here.

Thanks Bob,
I encourage you to give it a go :)
It is tough but very rewarding
Even if the results are not show stoppers:lol:

Thanks Trevor,
The seeing was the best I have seen for some time but still not great:rolleyes:
Registax seems to have great difficulty IMO with Mars in these conditions as there are many frames in it's opinion that are good, but when eyeballed it is difficult to tell that it is a Planet, let alone Mars
Ninox has done no better however, although to be fair I haven't fully explored some of the options related to quality estimation (something to do in my spare time  )
