Hi Profiler,
The link you attached isn’t for a Stellarvue raptor 105 refractor carbon fibre telescope. The link also doesn’t seem to include a dedicated field flattener…..or a case……or delivery from the United States……or a GST that you will more than likely pay when it gets here. If you do the calcs, you might end up with over $3,500……..which seems closer to what you would pay for this in Australia.
Maybe send Willik a pm if you are worried about the pricing?

Please check carefully before you post such a comment - if you read his description, Martin's scope is not the basic model you have linked. He was selling the carbon fibre Raptor with Feathertouch focusser (http://www.optcorp.com/product.aspx?pid=17146&src=goog).

I think Profiler was only " offering " an alternative Scope with similar features ... and " roughly near the same price range "
Just my humble thoughts on the matter.

Hi Dave and Mike
I must confess I found both your posts a bit odd. For some reason you both take issue with my post whereas Flash correctly understood which is as a point of comparison that this 'was' a good buy which has apparently been "withdrawn".

I have no idea what you intended, Profiler, but in making your comment you appear to have contravened several of the IIS Classifieds Terms of Service:
Please don't post replies to someone else's Ad unless it's specifically related to the item - that is, if you're asking relevant questions about it, perhaps with a view to purchasing.
Keep off-topic and spam posts out of the IceTrade Classifieds. It's not going to help someone sell their item if the threads contain off-topic posts.
Think before you post - if it's simply a comment or suggestion or similar, would it be best done via a PM or email?
If you want to be helpful to a seller, the above guidelines are easily followed.

Hi Mike
I fully agree the real problem here is as you fully admit:
"I have no idea what you intended"
and so everything you are attempting assert is more about your thoughts/views etc – not mine.
Cheers
