With my motivation currently focused on other pursuits,
having two telescopes gathering dust doesn't make sense.
So, I've decided to sell one and invest the funds elsewhere.
I know, I'll regret it later!
For sale, as a package for $750.00, or close offer
1) Televue Genesis 101mm F5 refractor, old but a classic.
2) Bintel 2" Dielectric diagonal
2) 2" steel leg tripod, adjustable legs etc. modified to take...
3) Home made Alt-Azm mount, using the Televue 'clam shell'
4) as new Telrad
I'm not prepared to split this up.
I bought this on IIS a couple of years ago and it has served me well.
The original paintwork was pretty ragged, so now it is in Essendon colours!
The mount is as smooth as butter.
I'll also include the sun filter and a Bahtinov mask.
Plenty of write ups and reviews on the internet on the Genesis.
Cloudy Nights has a number of threads. http://www.cloudynights.com
The eyepiece in the pictures is not included.
Pickup only, altogether this weighs a bit.
Plus packaging it all would freak me out!
I could possibly be persuaded to deliver it down to Melbourne.
I'm happy for prospective buyers to call in and check it out.
Just north of Kyneton in central Victoria.
Please don't ask me to sell individual bits, or quote postage to FNQ etc.
the answer is no.
Cheers
