Hey Asi, it's not over yet, I want to see you turn that C9.25 onto little red before it's last hurrah. Amazing stuff, it's well smaller than Mercury and not much bigger in angular size than Uranus at the moment:thumbsup:

Yes, dead ringer for a pea isn't it. Not one ounce of orange or red to be seen on the laptop, (not sure why) but I shot it anyway. I'm only interested in getting the detail so the rest doesn't concern me. It's a nasy looking photo to be sure but I'm pleased I got any detail at all, considering.

rob and asi have been at mars for a while. like a couple of dogs with a bone that is now been chewed down to the grissle.

it is an institution only , nothing scientific, or earth shattering, just some typical male behaviour in finding something funny in the smallest of things. Just thinking of this whole "chase mars to zero" between ron and asi has the biggest grin on my dial!!!

Roberts not in the race anymore for mars, he has a whopping great tree in the way now I think.

Yeah, I can't think of anything more fun than to get one of my fabulous, awe-inspiring pics of mars...called a pea! AAAHHH!.......:)

Your mad Asi.

Oh..:( I thought the definition of madness was trying to image a planet in broad daylight & it was half the size of a pea?

Oh well :)

Hey Asi, there's a break between the branches of the iron-bark near the fork.... maybe with some daylight imaging and if the tail end of Larry and Watti bugger off I'm still in with a chance;)

When I said you were mad I meant Mad, in the way they said Edmund Hillary was mad when he went to conquer Everest.
Not mad like Van Gogh who lost the plot after reaching his creative boundries.
But if you get an urge to start lopping off your ear when Mars goes over the horizon, I might have to change my mind.
