With the rainy weather here in Brisbane I've had a go at compiling another video of Saturn on the 9th of April 2011 when it was nearing opposition and when the storm in the northern hemisphere was still raging. One complete rotation of the planet was recorded with 1 frame taken every 15 minutes over 10 hours. Equipment used was a 12" Sky-Watcher Dobsonian telescope and a Canon EOS 550D with 4x teleconverters at prime focus.
The map sequences were constructed using the WinJUPOS program.
