I've watched the first 12 episodes and can tell you this is the series to watch IMO

gutsy covers all the bases

sex and more sex, violence, suspense, intrigue, action, some humour thrown in and a good cast

I give it :thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

also "Falling Skies" should be returning for a second series in 2012

Have not seen Homeland but Falling Skies season 2 should be great when it returns.

I watched the first episode a couple of days ago. Seems OK so far although the over the top seriousness from the leading chick is a bit irritating.

Breaking Bad set the bar pretty high for me so i'm not sure if I will be able to appreciate any other shows as much after watching it.
