It was the last day of 2011, and I was up early to photograph Comet Lovejoy and the beautiful sunrise at Kioloa Beach. The beach was completely empty, except for a lone fisherman and his boat… and 1 bird :)

the colours make the scene - but that poor fisherman must have felt like he was being stalked ;)

Lovely colours Mike and I especially like the one with the Oystercatcher looking on. I suspect that the lone fisherman may however not be lonely...
