This CD was a huge help when I first started out in Astrophotography with my Canon 450D, but I've realised I very rarely consult it now, so putting it up for someone starting out on the DSLR learning curve. CD in excellent condition.

It offers no nonsense helpful stategies for exposure times, ISO settings, software techniques, dealing with light polution and lots of other conundrums that beginners find themselves contemplating. CD format very convenient too for browsing on laptop while waiting for an imaging run.

John, Jerry Lodriguess is pretty opened minded about Canon versus Nikon (and other brands). He does openly say more people (and more software) tend to be be Canon based, but the information is fairly general across brands.

He does have some useful website info that's worth hunting down ("Catching the Light") if you're just starting out in imaging. His book goes into a lot more useful detail though of course. It's priced a lot more reasonably now too I should add, compared to the much more ugly exchange rate a few years ago ($65 dollars locally back then from memory).
