Does anyone know where I can get a solar filter for a Celestron 130SLT scope?

Thanks!

Celestron (http://www.celestron.com/astronomy/celestron-solar-filter-nxslt130-am130-ps127-c5s-n5s-ns-130gt.html) have one.

If you want to try others, measure the outside diameter of the tube. Thousand Oaks (http://thousandoaksoptical.com/solar.html) have a list of which of their filters fits which scope but the 130SLT isn't listed so you'll have to find which one is right. Other manufacturers probably do the same, and then you just need to find a shop which sells them.

You can get a sheet of Baader Solar film and make you own. A very cost effective and safe solution.
Gives excellent views in white light.

If you haven't already found one there's some on Ebay australia but it is a US dealer and will cost you just shy of $100. He says it fits the 130SLT:)

Yep, you can make one with some common household items (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=88227) mine costed less than $10 with a left over piece of Baader film
