Excellent Leo, a really beautiful galaxy that, you have done it justice

The fine filaments rising above and falling below the main dust lane really are something.

Very nice Leo. You got a bit of star elongation this time. You normally have nice round stars. Tilt or the longer focal length showed up some tracking errors?

Greg.

A great image of this beautiful galaxy. I really like the colours and the overall processing. Great work!
I noticed in the closeup there is what looks like a double star right on the dust lane in the lower left. This star seems much more sharpened than other stars of similar brightness in the image.

Do you see this galaxy visually? Even with my 10" Dob it is hard to see but that maybe brcause of the light polluted sky in Holland. My NELM is 5.5-6.0.

Awesome. Such great detail You really have the RC10 dialled in and clearly the AO is pulling out some great detail.

Well done. Lots of exposure time too. You must be a patient man.

This is the first time in a Loooong time that I have opened an image and gone 'WOWWWWWW!' :eyepop:

I have seen a few wow's lately and even a Whoah or two recently, but this is spectacular!!!!

Excellent work Leo  Thank you for showing us

Very nice one Leo, just one observation, is there anyway to lessen the impact of the stars in the image to enhance the galaxy more ??

Yes top stuff Leo!
The detail you have coaxed from the galaxy is lovely.
Beautiful smooth back ground and outstanding colour.

Makes me laugh, your in -15*C with wind and I'm generally out in 15*C with wind... this time of the year

All the best
Rich

Not been able to glimpse this galaxy but your photo takes some of the pain away. Really beautiful and so well imaged as usual, Leonardo.

Thanks to all for your kind comments..

@Greg : like i wrote .. the wind are so strong and the AO had a lot of difficult to fix the problems..

@SkyViking: my setup is oversampled and i use a Deconvolution to gain details .. the stars over the galaxy are affected from this operation.

@cventer: the strong passion is the engine of my patient...

@Ken: thank you so much ... great comment :-)

@Trevor: yes, i could reduce stars ..

@Richardo: the opposite side :-) .. so so far

Thanks again to all...
Leo
