Because I have been unable to get outside lately with being on nightshift I thought I would post some pictures of the new gear that I have ordered, and how I plan to connect it all together.
The moonlite focuser is a 2.5 inch threaded drawtube design with 1 inch of travel, it is a lower profile than the stock GSO focuser and also the drawtube does not protrude into the OTA at all even when fully racked in.
On the camera I have the window then the filter wheel then a spacer and the MPCC, I decided on using the female M42 thread on the MPCC to attach the 2.5 inch TS OAG. As you can see the OAG is vastly larger than the MPCC and so Im fairly confident the prism will not cast a shadow on the sensor.
My only issue now is the TS OAG is a 69mm thread and the focuser is 68mm so I have a custom adaptor on the way, along with a baader 7nm hydrogen alpha filter.
