Ive been testing out a series of new equipment and programs and in the process managed to completely screw up my ASCOM settings by updating to ascom6 which somehow confilcted with my dome rotation which then stopped PhD from autoguiding. WTF!!!!! It also scubbed all of my restore points on the laptop!!!!!!!!!!! :sadeyes: :mad2:
Anyhow while I was slowly going insane in the dome I was testing narrow band capture and only managed to capture 2x15min each of Ha, S11 and O111 for my efforts.
After completely rebuilding the OS and re-loading all my programs I was able to process what I had in the Hubble pallette.

Now that is certainly different. The different palette draws the eye to different features of the neb.

Well it has some nice res (small file) and you have handled the central and core regions better than most but ya need to do a colour balance Sid on that I am afraid, I think most people would find that way too green mate. Adjust the weightings in the combine settings and lets see it again :thumbsup:

Yep, Ha is overpowering it allan. I've been finding that it's best to stretch out the weakest channel first, normally S2, then stretch the other two to match it. It's a little different from RGB where you normally stretch as far as it will go. Here's a quick example of what I mean, I took your image, backed off green with curves then boosted red and blue and then fiddled with magenta and yellow in selective colours. Hope you don't mind.
