Europa egress

Tuesday night was the first really clear night that I'd had in weeks. Regardless of the near full moon, I got the scope out to cool. Around midnight I thought that I'd get a few pics of Jup, and got a surprise. Europa coming out of transit! I'd never seen it before, so I was tickled pink to have captured the event.:D
I offer the usual apologies for the quality of the pics, you all know the setup I work with.

hi jjjnettie, nice pickup of Europa there and great to see a pic from you in any case, you been quiet for a while... the GRS and some detail within as well :thumbsup:

I tried a different technique the next night, and managed to capture Jupiter with a bit of colour in it. Shades of salmon pink. But the photo was taken at low magnification, and was very shakey and out of focus so I knew I had to get another pic to make sure. So, excited, I went out to take a better picture but it had clouded over. It's days later and it is still cloudy.
What is it with this hobby? It's cursed, I know it is.
