Hi Guys
This image is a reprocess of some old data from a couple of years back shot with the M25c OSC and an FSQ106N.
The exposure time was 6 hours If my memory serves me and all pre processing done in AA5 and post processing in CS4.
Hope you enjoy.

That looks pretty nice Louie, nice recall of old data  One shots can do alright in the right hands.
Totally just a suggestion - to my (narrow-band affected ) eye it has a slight yellow green cast which is washing out the blues and magenta's and making the reds slightly orange, it may look completely different on your screen of course aaaand you may just tell me to go suck eggs... but have a go see what you think first :P.
ED: I just read your colour ideas detailed to Paul...I'll go suck eggs.....

Mike, thanks dude! Ah,your very correct in that It certainly does have the greeny/yellow and I did notice that mate and being the lazy sod that I am decided to leave It alone  I do appreciate your critique!
Now,I'll be serious for a moment :face:
This tends to happen when pulling back on the blue too much and not balancing color well enough again.

Nice job reconstituting old data here Louie!
I love this area, and the one little object that usually has me looking hard is the Fox Fur neb. Love the way it encroaches into the reflection neb.
Lots of dust and stuff....
Like your colour as well;)
All the best
Rich
A truely inspiring image - thanks for sharing. I love the contrasting colours (red and blues) and star colours. Some wonderful but not exagerated dust clouds too. Nice one. :)

Hey Rich, thanks very much mate! If I get a chance this season I'll look at It with the FLI and try and get the most out of this region.
Hi Rob
Thanks you very much, am so glad you like It! with so much going on, the region can be difficult to process and things can go astray very quickly.
Getting the dust in the region to lift I think I found the most difficult in this image, but am satisfied with the result for exposure time from a OSC.

I've got 13-14 hours on an object that I just don't have the time to process.
I'll get around to it as soon as I can.
I also had 3 large scale mosaics that I have prepared plans for as long as 6 months ago, but, the weather has been absolute rubbish to realise them. :(
I feel like selling my gear.
