Hi all,

Managed to get the mount out lovely weather here finally and can start looking at more imaging. Got the 480mm TS Refractor out and got about 6 5000 frame images of moon at different points from the DSLR 450D. Would like to get HD video but money is a bot stretched at the moment so will have to settle for this.

Stacked with AVIStack, Merged using iMerge (wonderful program) then touched up with Registax and finally GIMP.

I have decided for all my general images these will be going on Google and will be looking at putting science based (sort of) on my own website.

Nice one Malcolm. Had a look at some of your Jupiter shots whilst there. You have some very good ones there. I haven't tried AVIstack. Will have a look at it.
Cheers
Dave

Thanks Dave and Geoff, The TS80mm is not the best for moon or planetary but it still works well. The key is the processing.
Hope to get the old DOB out one day soon to do some more imaging.
