Howdy.:)

Been a while since I posted an image, started to get withdrawals!:help:

Still struggling with blue halos around some of the stars and could use some more SII data, however, I do not think I will get it for a few weeks.

About 3.5 hours each Ha and OIII, and about 1.8 hours SII. QHY9 mono, Astronomik 12nm narrow band filters, EQ6, WO Megrez 110 scope.

Comments and thoughts welcome as always.:D

Very nice and lots of detail only the poor running man doesn't look like a running man anymore.
But still very nice.

Coming up very nice Gray. The SII is the hardest to capture and by far the faintest of them all.
Try using some short exposure RGB to mask your stars into the NB image.

Well done. I know about withdrawal.

Thank you Astroman. The Ha shots are fantastic and there is dust everywhere.

Nice of you to say so! Thanks David!:)

Hi Martin, yes poor Running Man is a bit obscured in the original data also. He is non-existent in the Ha data.

Cheers Jo! The colour is what I like about narrow band, because it is more art and there is a greater ability for ad lib and or poetic license, whichever is the more correct term.:)

Hi Doug, feeling any better, mate?

LOL! Sometimes the astrophotography withdrawals are worse than the nicotine ones I used to get.

Yes, SII is a bit harder to get, for sure. When the sky clears up again I will definitely try to get some RGB data to blend into stars, that is the next step in the game.:D

Fantastic! That dark channel between the Orion and Running Man nebulae is spectacular.
