Was a bit touch & go last night, 5 of us were humbly working at our cameras !
Initially there were a few clouds about east of the storm cell that travelled from Tenterfield to Warwick around 11pm for about an hour. Some thin mid level moisture lurking till 1:30am. Then had a 30min clear dark patch over the SSE and then the cloud rolled in again, so only a small window of opertunity which allowed time for 5 subs ! During this time , Lovejoy was just very barely visible to the eye !

Here is my final of 5 x 3min subs, 18mm, F/4, ISO800, ICNR,
Stacked in Registax, Processed in CS3 !

Cheers Carl, I couldnt work much comet out within a single sub but the 5 stack just secured the data enough to bring Lovejoy out somewhat : )

Hi, Bob.

Nice image, comet lovejoy has given us all a chance to compare each others work, especially with DSLR's. Can only help us improve.

Thanks,

Justin.
