Here is a photo of one of a family of green and blue eyed honey eaters that visit me every afternoon after work looking for a feed , they get one . :lol:.
Cool looking birds .

Thanks guys , yea they are cool looking , almost like a colourful vulture , sound as awful in a cool sorta way , only these guys eat incects and fruit .

Hey Brian, have two photos below of a couple of uncommon visitors i had to my garden in Sunbury last year. A Barn Owl and a Tawny Frog Mouth (a pair actually), dont see them often here in the gardens. Not good shots or studies or anything, just taken with a cheap point and press but nice all the same.
We are on the edge of the city and opposite a golf course so we gets lots of different parrots and those bloody noisy Galahs. Would not change it though.

The boobooks for about 5 days, probably exhausted my supply of mice, and the owl just for two days. The tawnies were really funny they would glare me down when i came near them, see photo. The owl just ignored me. It was towards the end of a big drought so perhaps they were roaming into housed areas in search of food.
