This morning I set my alarm for 2:35AM in an attempt to capture Saturn.

After I setup my telescope, I found 3 bright galaxies which were visible in the eastern sky (Sombrero Galaxy, Hamburger Galaxy and M83).

After a quick detour to capture the galaxies, I moved back to Saturn.

I am quiet pleased with the results - there is some surface details and the cassini division is clearly visible.

I have attached two images - the first is the resolution straight from the camera. The second has been magnified using the "Drizzle" feature in Registax.

I would appreciate if any one has advise around post-processing of Saturn images.

Nice shots:)

You've lost some of the sharpness using drizzle. Could also use a powermate or barlow to up the image scale a tad.
