I might be able to get my hands on several new TMB type II planetary eyepieces of 6mm and 9mm.

From the TMB website:
"The TMB Optical® eyepieces are the first long eye relief eyepieces with a comfortably wide field that have the sharpness, contrast, and lack of lateral color and light scatter for planetary observing of the best orthoscopic and Plössl designs. I would like to know who would be eventually interested in getting some.

The price would be $49 + shipment.

Well, it was a 'For Sale' post, and technically these are meant to expire to the archives after three months. maybe you should be thankful that this one has lasted quite a lot longer!

Of course, the seller has been conspicuous by his absence for a while.

There was a previous thread on CN where one of the astronomics guys explained how the manufacturer was getting around not paying anything to the estate & still sing the tmb logo, I just can't find it.
I don't have any of the planetaries sold here, but I had presumed & thought the ep sales were not going thru the official tmb estate channels

The thread was archived because it was one I meant to archive last year when I removed some other "vendor" type threads in IceTrade.

The post brought it back to my attention so it was a good time to move it.

If there is any form of communication where an item is portrayed as an "authentic XXX" but is not and is instead some type of "clone" or something else other than an "authentic XXX" then it would constitute misrepresentation and would be covered under the Trade Practices Act.

As long as there is no representation or overt ommission (i.e. You are specifically asked is this a real "X" and then you do not respond to this question which would otherwise reveal that it is 'not' a real X) then it is simply caveat emptor.
