Lovejoy imaged at Cookamidgra East of Parkes NSW

Hello Last night 4 members Of the CWAS Parkes and a Guest travelled to Cookamidgra to Image Comet Lovejoy.They were John Sarkissian -Paul Clarke-Christine Speers and her son Phillip-myself Tony Trelford.We setup 4 cameras.Started taking images at about 1am.the last image I shot was at 4.41am.It was a good night With a good display of meteors and Iridium Flares to add to it.John noticed some faint Red glow in the south and wreckoned it was Auroral Activity -you can pick it in some of our images .We left the sight at 5.10am this morning -I got hame to canowindra at 6.30am. reguard's Tony

Sounds like an enjoyable morning of images, comet is getting fainter but you picked it up very well with all the glorious Milkyway.
