:P OK it's just real bad colour balance.
Not a great result but better than I expected with the rubbish seeing :mad2:
In one avi R6 selected only 12 frames from 10800 at 95% or better quality:rofl: and the average was around 60 frames:screwy::help:Not really sure why I bothered:shrug:

Well, it's a result. And you do have some surface detail, so not a total loss. Last session I did of Mars all I got was a brown blob and a polar cap.

Looks like we're back to the rubbish seeing. Tonight is very wooly, don't know what tomorrow morning will be like.

But we keep trying.

And good luck in the morning:thumbsup:
I have a BIG day so no early rising for me:lol:

pretty good detail Rob. what do you think the polar colour is due to - saturation, IR leakage? Regards Ray

Not sure Ray. The only thing that has changed since last time is the camera, and I had no problems with the pole colour then:question:
If the seeing improves:rolleyes: I will try some different configurations.
The histo was a bit full with the Red clipping during processing, although the polar area wasn't clipped (as it's not so Red I guess )
Amazing how each planet is so different. I had a go at Saturn as well the same morning, but it was real rubbish due to the seeing:sadeyes: So not posting that one

lol. I had MUCH LESS detail on my first imaging attempt and I was over the moon. :)

Keep it up!

:thanx: DJ
If it had been my first attempt I would have been stoked
The seeing was so bad that I was surprised I got any detail at all.
