Hi all,

Yet another noob :)

I'm in Melb. Finally got around to buying myself a Celestron 130 EQ for Christmas :) Have used 'scopes before but never my own/ Looking forward to getting it (hopefully tomorrow or Monday!)

Nice to join what looks like a friendly community! Looking forward to learning lots.

Thanks folks!

Telescope arrived this morning - excellent and fast service from Ozscopes!

Just finished setting it up, let's hope for some of this cloud to lift over melbourne tonight :)

Congrates on the new scope. You might be in luck and be able to actually get to use it tonight.

PS :welcome: to IIS.

Hehe ok you twisted my arm - I've put it back to the Picard facepalm :)

Thanks for the welcome! Only a few hours to go and clear skies in Melbourne, looking forward to it (despite being in quite an urban location.. my hopes aren't too high but better than nothing)
