I have done the electrical bit for my Peltier cooler mod for my canon, but the aluminium sheet I got from RS components is way too thick to make the box out of. I am having trouble sourcing about 0.025" (0.6mm) aluminium sheeting.
Any one any ideas where I could get some?
Graham
Bunnings have alu sheeting in different thicknesses.

Radio Control model shops or Model Train shops may have what you want.

Cheers Guys, found some at Mitre 10. Now have aluminium box with heat sink attached and waiting for spare day to finish the rest. Anyone any idea about vibration with fans inside the box?

There are fans and there are fans. Some are not balanced and some create a whole lot of noise as airflow separates of the blades. Low speed high displacement is probably best.

Suspend the fan with springs or rubberbands!
Cheers!

Hi Grahame, I personally going for a die-cast IP65 Rated box big enough to house the camera. I haven't been able to locate any at the moment but I think I will get there one day. I have so many projects going hard to know where to start but considering cooler soon after completing the Bino Chair, EQ Platform and full battery support for my mount. Not to mention Robotic support for my son.
