Hi,
From the darker skies of Rathdowney, we had a good visual of Lovejoy considering it loss in brightness, some of which would be due to it positioned right on the Milkway !
Image stats : 150 secs; ISO 1600; ICNR;
Lens : 18-135mm @ 20mm; F/3.5.
Tracked on a C8 fork .

Ty Carl, I'm not totally sure, but asume it may have been a large bug as I was painting the foreground with a 3 million candlepower spotty ?

Hi Bob
Well, that is certainly the most colourful of all the Lovejoy photos I have seen on Ice In Space so far. It has a painterly feel to it, which I quite like. I find it a very pleasing composition, thanks for the view!
Cheers

Thanx Dennis, I thought I overdid it abit, tried to distract from the poor focus on the stars, still not too shabby, , Cheers !
